This course aims to build foundations of corporate social responsibility and social enterprise to effectively apply partnership and networking. This course aims to enable students to review the current social welfare program with critical perspective. | Social Work Field Practicum | This course provides opportunities for students to integrate classroom knowledge and practice social work in different social work settings. Students are supervised by an agency staff member. The field experience will provide students with educational opportunities that lead to competent practice. | Cognitive Behavioral Therapy | This course serves as an introduction to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy(CBT). It intends to not only increase students’ conceptual understanding of the theory, principles, and procedures of CBT but also develop their ability to apply the CBT model while working with clients experiencing various mental health issues such as depression, anxiety disorders, and addiction. | Case Studies and Supervision | This course is designed to provide educational supervision to social work students. Students will spend supervised time in the practice and field studies. This course facilitates student application of classroom learning in a social service agency. Students will demonstrate their practice competence, gain a generalist perspective of social work practice, and prepare to move into an advanced area of practice concentration. This course prepares students to apply theories, models, and ethical principles in a specific social service delivery system. | 4th Industrial Revolution and Income Protection Policy | This course will highlight on the changes related to the 4th Industrial Revolution which has an impact on the economy, industry, and the labor market. In this course, students will learn the role of income protection policy in the changing welfare state, the concept and form of income protection, and the process of change in labour market and policy. | SW4060 | 복지정치경제학 | 본 과목은 복지정치경제에 대한 심층적인 소개를 목적으로 먼저 정치경제의 여러 사상을 소개한다. 사회복지정책에서의 복지 정치의 의미와 영향을 이해하고 정책 결정과정에 있어 정치 시스템이 정책을 유지 변경하는 과정을 설명한다. 더불어 복지 정치 분석에 사용되는 개념과 원리를 살펴보고, 사회복지 정책에서의 주요 경제 원리와 개념을 익히고, 사회보험, 빈곤측정, 건강 및 노동시장 정책에 관한 경제적 이론도 함께 검토할 것이다. 나아가 복지정책과 관련된 정치적, 경제적 역동성을 학생들이 다양한 주제를 통해 토론하게 될 것이다. |
| Welfare politics and economics | The purpose of this course is to provide students with an overview various ideas of political economy for the purpose of in-depth introduction of welfare politics economy. In this course, Students will learn the concepts and principles used in welfare politics analysis. In addition, students will learn major economic principles and concepts in social welfare policy, and examine economic theories about social insurance, poverty measurement, health and labor market policy. Therefore, students will discuss various aspects of political and economic dynamics related to welfare policy. |
